Accessibility

Built for every starting point.

PathPilot exists to make good career guidance available to more people, so our website should work for everyone too. Here is what we do, where we fall short today, and how to tell us about a barrier.

Last reviewed October 2026

Our standard

Designed toward WCAG 2.2 AA.

We design and test this website against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. We check every page with a keyboard, at phone and desktop sizes, in light and dark mode, and with reduced motion turned on.

Keyboard and screen readers

Every page can be used with a keyboard alone, with visible focus, a skip link, labelled controls and meaningful headings.

Reduced motion

If your device asks for less motion, our animations stop or are replaced with still versions. Nothing important depends on animation.

Colour and contrast

Text is designed to meet WCAG contrast ratios in both light and dark mode. Colour is never the only way information is shown.

Readable at any size

Pages reflow from large screens down to phones and stay usable when zoomed to 200%.

Plain language

We write in short sentences and avoid jargon, so the site is easier to read and to translate.

Your language

The PathPilot app supports conversations in 84 languages. This website is available in English and French.

Known limitations

Where we are still working.

Third-party booking calendar

Our demo booking page embeds Google Calendar. We do not control its accessibility. If it doesn't work for you, contact us and we will book a time with you directly.

Animated homepage

The homepage tells our story with scroll animation. All of its text is in the page, and it respects your reduced-motion setting.

Not yet independently audited

This website has not had a formal third-party accessibility audit. We plan one and will update this page when it is done.

Tell us

Found a barrier? We want to know.

We treat accessibility barriers as bugs. Tell us the page or feature and what got in the way, and we will reply and work on a fix. If you need information from this website in another format, ask and we will provide it.
